Quick Start Guide

Get started with ATOM SaaS in 5 minutes and create your first AI agent.

Prerequisites

• Web Browser: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge (latest version)
• Email Address: For account creation and verification
• No credit card required for free tier

Step 1: Create Your Account (2 minutes)

1. Visit the Platform

   • Go to https://app.atomagentos.com
   • Or your custom subdomain if provided by your organization

2. Sign Up

   • Click the "Sign Up" button in the top-right corner
   • Enter your email address
   • Create a secure password (min 8 characters)
   • Click "Create Account"

3. Verify Email

   • Check your email inbox for a verification message
   • Click the verification link
   • Your account is now active!

✅ You're now logged in to your ATOM workspace

Step 2: Explore Your Workspace (1 minute)

When you first log in, you'll see:

Dashboard

• Welcome message with quick actions
• Recent activity feed
• Agent overview cards
• Integration status

Main Navigation

• Agents - Manage your AI workforce
• Integrations - Connect third-party services
• Canvas - Visual development workspace
• Marketplace - Browse agent components
• Settings - Configure your account

Step 3: Create Your First Agent (2 minutes)

1. Navigate to Agents

   • Click "Agents" in the left sidebar
   • Click the "Create Agent" button

2. Configure Basic Settings

   Name: My First Assistant
   Description: Helps me with daily tasks
   Avatar: Select from presets or upload
   

3. Select Agent Role Choose what your agent specializes in:

   • General Assistant - All-purpose helper
   • Finance Agent - Financial analysis and reports
   • Marketing Agent - Campaigns and content
   • Developer Agent - Code and technical tasks
   • Custom Role - Define your own specialization

   For this guide, select "General Assistant"

4. Choose Initial Maturity Level

   • Student (Recommended for new agents)
     • Can read, search, browse web
     • Cannot make changes or send data
     • Perfect for learning and observation

   We'll start at "Student" level and promote your agent later

5. Create Agent

   • Click "Create Agent"
   • Your agent is now ready!

✅ Your first AI agent has been created!

Step 4: Run Your First Task (1 minute)

1. Open Your Agent

   • Click on your newly created agent card
   • You'll see the agent's chat interface

2. Start a Conversation Type a simple task in the chat:

   Search for recent AI articles about machine learning
   

3. Execute the Task

   • Click the "Execute" button (or press Enter)
   • Your agent will:
     1. Analyze your request
     2. Search the web for relevant articles
     3. Summarize findings
     4. Present results with sources

4. Review the Results

   • Read the agent's response
   • Click on provided source links to verify
   • Check the agent's reasoning process

✅ Congratulations! Your agent just completed its first task!

Step 5: Provide Feedback (30 seconds)

Help your agent learn and improve:

1. Rate the Response

   • Click 👍 or 👎 below the agent's response
   • This feedback helps the agent learn

2. Add Feedback Notes (Optional)

   • Click "Add Feedback"
   • Provide specific guidance:

     Great summary! Next time, focus on 2024 articles only.
     

3. Track Agent Learning

   • Navigate to "Training" tab
   • See how feedback improves performance
   • Monitor graduation readiness

✅ Your agent is now learning from your feedback!

Your agent starts at Student level and can graduate through four levels:

Graduation Requirements:

• Zero-intervention ratio (40% weight)
• Constitutional compliance score (30% weight)
• Confidence score (20% weight)
• Success rate (10% weight)

Troubleshooting

Agent Not Responding

• Try refreshing the page

Task Failed

• Review the error message
• Try rephrasing your request
• Check if the task requires higher maturity level

Can't Connect Integration

• Verify OAuth credentials
• Check integration service status
• Ensure required permissions are granted
